Beer Bread



2/3 cup Beer (80º)
2 tbl sugar
1 tsp salt
4 tsp Oil (80º)
1½ tsp yeast  (lil sugar)
¼  cup water  (80º)
2 cups flour

Put yeast,lil sugar, and water in glass container.  Allow to proof.  Mix beer, sugar, salt, and oil in mixing bowl.  Add yeast mixture and stir.  Add flour ¾ cup at a time mixing well.  Reserve last ½  cup of flour.  Turn dough onto floured surface working in last ½ cup of flour.  knead until smooth and elastic.  Place in a warm, draft free place until doubled.  Punch down, place in loaf pan or  desired baking pan, and allow to rise again.  Bake at 350º 35 minutes or until top is golden brown and makes a hollow sound when thumped.
