Vinegar Rolls

Biscuit Dough
4 cups flour
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 1/2  teaspoons salt
Mix together
2/3 cup butter or solid margarine
Add butter crumbling into coarse pieces
1 1/3 Cups milk
Make a well in the middle of mixture and add  milk about 1/3 cup at a time mixing in with a fork until all dough is moist.  Press together and knead a few times.  Too much  and dough will be tough.
Place milk in mixing bowl, then add flour mixture a little at a time.  I seem to do better getting all the dough moist this way

For Vinegar Rolls roll into thin rectangle Spread soft butter or margarine on top of dough.  Sprinkle generously with sugar and cinnamon.  Roll into log.  Pinch seam together.  You can smear a little water with your finger if you have difficulty getting it to seal.   Slice and place pinwheel side up in 9x13 pan (not glass).  Pour vinegar syrup over top.  Rolls will float to top when syrup is added. Bake at 375 until done.

Vinegar Syrup
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups water
2 cups sugar
Cook over medium heat stirring until all sugar is dissolved.  Cook about another 3 minutes remove from heat and add about a tablespoon butter.  When butter is dissolved pour over rolls and bake.
